In 2015, at the periphery of the 2016 election, Ghana was rocked by a ‘Bus Branding’ scandal, which some NDC folks, in hindsight, believed might have caused them the elections.

Behind every successful man is a woman who empowers him, and beside every struggling man is a woman who supports him. A strong partnership is built on valuable principles and positive mindsets.

Remember, having a supportive partner by your side can make all the difference in achieving your goals, overcoming obstacles, and having a happy life.

It’s general knowledge that the scourge of Africa is its leadership. The prolonged trauma of that deficiency has led to a breed of irresponsible citizenry.

Most of our people are ignorantly irresponsible, enabled by an irresponsible system headed by irresponsible leadership.

To build a brighter future, we must work together to create a responsible and accountable system of leadership that empowers citizens to take ownership of their actions and contribute to the betterment of society.

I chanced on this beach with a friend, and it was a vista. It had relatively cleaner water and beautiful sand and was less crowded.

Ironically, the journey to the beach was not a very pleasant one. You had to walk through a fishing community to get to the vista, so it was more like a beautiful gem tacked in dirt.

This spot became the usual beach hangout spot with friends until my wife couldn’t bear the ‘galamsey’ anymore.

In 2015, at the periphery of the 2016 election, Ghana was rocked by a ‘Bus Branding’ scandal, which some NDC folks, in hindsight, believed might have caused them the elections.

It was reported then that the ruling NDC government had paid about GHc 3.6 million to an ‘NDC Girl’ to brand some 116 buses for the Metro Mass Transit company. Through an aggressive campaign by the then ‘incorruptible’ NPP, the full amount was refunded, and the Minister in charge of transport also resigned.

We will do all it takes to make, just to realize we have gained nothing.

But go and be somebody even if it kills you, and know that life is a crowded, lonely trip, and all that matters at the end is the boat fare.
